HOW CAN GOD BE EMBODIED?

Hasn't it been said that God is in everything?

I believe God pervades everything and is present in all things in the whole universe too, if "God" is an eternal principle.

However, I do believe God was once a man who has become a god and that there are many gods. Some think it is blasphemous, but it is only if you worship several gods. I only have one god, like you have one U.S. President, but there are many presidents in the world, and Presidency is a concept.

Doesn't the Bible say that if a man sees God he will die?

The Bible says that Moses saw God's back. He also spoke with God face to face. I also believe Abraham talked and fed God before the angels resumed their trip to Sodom. I also believe Jacob wrestled with God. I guess it comes down to interpretation and belief, but the part about Moses is quite clear though.

Were we to see God in all his glory, we may die. There are several interpretations to what this glory could be, but let's assume that it would consume us, then maybe God is able to show himself stripped of this glory, so we can bear his presence.

This is just my personal belief, and you have to decide what is the truth for yourself.

Doesn't an embodied God lessen God's status?

I'll just add that an embodied God is no less grand than a disembodied one. To me, and I don't mean to offend, a disembodied God would have no clue what life down here would really be like. My belief that my God was once a man makes me relate to Him and helps me know that He knows what this is really like. It does not bring God down to Man, it only elevates Man to God.
